On the first day you will navigate the 8km “Pont d’Arc” descent. Around 1h30 of paddling time without time constraints with passage under the Pont d\u2019Arc. Ideal to enjoy and relax.<\/p>\n

On the second day, you will cross the 24 km of the Gorges de l’Ard\u00e8che nature reserve. Allow 4 to 5 hours of paddling (depending on speed) to cover the 24 km to the Sauze landing stage.<\/p>\n

Departures for this route are non-stop between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All you have to do is come to our office located on route des gorges, in Vallon Pont D\u2019Arc.<\/p>\n

Our teams will start by providing you with the necessary equipment for your activity (waterproof cans, life jackets, etc.)<\/p>\n

After taking the time to equip and prepare yourself (showers and toilets available on site), you will attend a short briefing explaining the course and its particular points, as well as a quick introduction to paddle technique.<\/p>\n

Once these small steps have been validated, you are all set, all you have to do is reach our pier, located 100m away to get afloat!<\/p>\n

2nd day, the 24km nature reserve:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Before leaving, please plan a sufficient quantity of water and food for your day, you will not find any snacks or restaurants during your journey.<\/p>\n

Also bring sunscreen and \/ or long clothing knowing that you will be spending almost the entire day in the sun.<\/p>\n

After being equipped (waterproof containers, life jackets, etc.) and informed about the route by our team, our buses will take you to your starting point, the entrance to the majestic Gorges de l’Ard\u00e8che nature reserve.<\/p>\n

Descent<\/span><\/p>\n

The 8 km course is accessible and family friendly, navigation is very easy. Only the Branches<\/em> and Charlemagne<\/em> rapids require a little piloting. After an hour of paddling around, you will enjoy an unforgettable experience sailing under the majestic Pont D\u2019Arc, an ideal site for swimming.<\/p>\n

Once you have passed the Pont d’Arc, allow around 30 minutes of paddling time to reach the beach where your course ends.<\/p>\n

2nd day, the nature reserve 24km<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 24km course will need around 5 hours of paddling time (not counting the breaks), so managing your time is a key point of this activity. As such, we advise you to complete most of the route in the morning, before your lunch break. The arrival takes place in the hamlet of CHAMES and is marked by STOP n \u00b0 5. (Left Bank)<\/p>\n

Our shuttles will be waiting for you on arrival, at the time you have chosen at the time of your departure to bring you back to the Vallon-Pont-D\u2019arc pier, where you will have left your vehicle.<\/p>\n
